When Dad started designing this sandbox I had one request - make it big! Camo loves the sand and I wanted to be able to fit in there with him. I'm pretty sure we could fit 10 Camerons in this sandbox.

First off, sorry I don't have a nice post for you. I had originally planned on being back at my apartment to write a post for today, but things didn't work out as planned. Which was totally fine because I was delayed for a good reason.

We may have left without the fans, but we had a great time judging/looking/critiquing/laughing at Homegoods. If you ever go, spend some time in the Library Decor section, it's a good laugh.

Today I turn 26 on the 26th. It's my golden birthday. For those of you who don't know the term, allow me to explain. Your golden birthday is when your age and date are the same number. We know what I look like now, but lets take a look back...
This is me when I was little...many years ago. On the left is one of my many soccer photos. On the right is a picture of Charlotte and I eating our lunch while watching tv. Mom used to make us a lunch to pack into our lunch boxes, then we would travel the long distance between the kitchen and the living room to enjoy our bounty. As you can see, we even got to use a thermos. Zack and Esther got to be big kids and go to school, so mom made us special lunches.
I can't wait til Saturday when Char and Esther come to visit. We are having a girls day out which will include lunch on the rents and thrifting at local stores. Happy birthday to me!

To all of you coming over from Pinterest:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I can't believe the how popular this little post has become. If you decide to try this project, please send me a link so I can check it out! I would love to see your ideas! Also, there's a misconception going around Pinterest that you can use glue for this project. Several people have told me that glue does not work. Just thought I'd let you know ahead of time! Thanks again!

My latest project has been the wall above my dining room table and also, these pictures. I've been trying to find a way to frame these photos for weeks! They are hard to frame because they aren't the average size; they are 7x7. And unless I want to lose some of the photo, I can't frame them in the normal frames.
I also love that I get to see the following photos everyday...

Update: I got this idea from Kim, who writes the blog Yellow Brick Home. You can find the original post here. Thank you, Penina, for helping me solve this mystery! I must have written this before I started Pinterest because I know I would have pinned it. Lesson learned, pin everything so you never forget anything!
Again, so not my idea. I completely wish I could take credit for this, but I can't. All that said...I love how it turned out.

Cam spent a lot of time here. At the end of the week we had to wipe little baby prints off the glass.

In this post I answer your puffy paint questions.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program...
A few weeks ago on Pinterest I found this lovely ditty. I loved the look and simplicity, so I decided to make my own.
One thing you need to know about me is that I'm a font snob. So when I went to Michael's to get wooden letters, I was very disappointed with the one and only choice. Yuck. Plus, it would have cost me $16 just for the letters. No thank you. The puffy paint cost $7 and I didn't even use both.
