Nothing to say...

I've got nothing to say. Really. There isn't anything going on. It's the same as always - sleep, school, take Charlie out, dinner, lessons, sleep...and it all begins again.

I have some things I want to show you - but I'm too tired/lazy at this point to find the camera, take the picture, upload the picture, write the post. See how lazy I am - I could do all of those things right from this chair! I'm pooped.

I need to get my grades in tonight. I want to have a nice dinner - but I really don't want to do the dishes. It's a good thing I don't own more than one small pan - because they would all be sitting in my sink waiting to be cleaned. It's practically the only one I use.

Alright - time to go. Charlie's energy is calling me away.

I'm starting to get angry...

I get shocked by everything. And I mean every thing. Every thing in this apartment shocks me: Charlie, the lamp, the filing cabinet, my phone, the light socket, my keys, and the kitchen sink (literally). I'm going crazy. I can't handle all this electricity!

I have a touch lamp that turns off every time I plug something in. Apparently, it's very sensitive and doesn't like sharing. I leave it on the lowest setting during the night because I'm scared of the mean because that's how Charlie likes it. Anywho...Tonight I had turned all the other lights off and walked over to turn the lamp on. My finger was still an inch away when I saw the lightning bolt shoot from the lamp to my finger! Ugh! It was so bright it looked like a camera flash went off!

Then I went over to pick up my phone and, of course, I got shocked. Apparently that was too much for the touch lamp to handle because when I got shocked it shut off. I'm going crazy with all the shocking! It's a hazard - I have to warn people about it when they come in. But let's change the subject.

I've been robbed!

Oh wait - just kidding.

Charlie left me a present yesterday. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Yippee Skippy!

I'll finally be able to sleep in until 9 on a Saturday or Sunday morning. I'm so excited! I bought curtains for my bedroom for several reasons - 1. I needed some sleep. 2. Charlie is breaking the blinds. 3. They are cool.

Thank you Esther ;) Charlie wasn't too sure about the cutrains at first -but she got used to them. This morning as I was getting in my car I saw her nose scooting around the curtains to find the middle - it was quite hilarious...especially at 7 am.

Later that night I realized I hadn't seen Charlie in about 1 hour and a half...which is strange. In such a small apartment I see her all the time. I went into my room later and found her asleep...she fell asleep at 7pm!

I'd like to say that I did finally unpack that bag - at 9pm. Don't you hate that the curtains don't touch the ground like they are supposed to? I don't/kinda do. But It took forver to get them felt like I was drilling into a rock wall. I had to keep going up and out to find a good spot. Yes, there are 2 empty holes in the wall now.

This next one is just because she's cute - but I'm sure you know that enough by now.

Don't worry Dad, I had it on cruise when we took that photo. Kidding! We were at a red light. No, I'm not choking her. Yes, I made her head face the sue me!

Be My Valentine

Tonight was my night to just hang out. I had planned on going home right after school, but because of exhaustion and other circumstances (my fam being gone and the Culbert's ditching me) I decided to just hang out here. I'd watch tv (on hulu), hang out, play with Charlie, and relax. Then I wouldn't be in a hurry to get anywhere and I would be more relaxed.

While reading the Pioneer Woman's website today I discovered some valentine cards that we available to download. You could download the valentines in color or black and white. Since I don't want to spend a billion dollars on ink cartridges, I opted for the coloring book style.

And I'm very glad that I did. Tonight was maybe the most relaxing night since I've been here. Aside from the fact that my hand is exhausted, I had so much fun coloring.

I spent all night watching the Fringe. It's not my favorite - but it's ok. The crazy king of Gondor from Lord of the Rings is one of the main characters. He's good.

Since Esther is the only one who isn't in the country to receive her valentine - I'll deliver it through this post. Happy Valentine's Day Est! I'm cheap - so it doesn't come with candy.

But it does come with a cute tiny heart.

I colored 24 of these suckers...and I think this one is my favorite. I had a lot of fun coloring things the wrong color. Which would explain a blue lady bug, pink bear, pink bunny, orange whale, pink whale, and yellow bear.

I've always known this (but today made it more evident) but I really don't like the color yellow. It's awful - it only matches green and orange. Boring. Yellow and blue as a combo have been ruined for life because of High Point - not that I didn't like High Point, but I really just hate those colors together. I really don't like yellow. So I had to force myself to use some yellow on my valentine cards. Weird, I don't really know where it started - but I don't like the color yellow.

Charlie was a little upset that she wasn't getting my full attention, maybe that's why she crawled under the nightstand. She was wining so I was worried she was stuck - I was wrong. She was just being cute.

Oh, by the way, I saw a Border Terrior on the Westminster Dog Show (on hulu of course) and I discovered something - Charlie's fat. Really fat. So fat, in fact, that when I call her "Fatty" now - I feel slightly guilty. Compared to Charlie - the Border Terrier on the show looked like he had been starved for 3 weeks, but I'm very happy with my pudgy puppy.

Friday the 13th

It's a spooky day today. Well, it should be anyway. Isn't that what all the movies tell us? Forget it. The scariest things I'll be dealing with today are elementary kids. On second thought...I think it's going to be one very spooky day.

Really? Seriously?

These photos don't even need an explaination.

These next 2 photos are just for that when I don't remember where a button is I can look up these photos and figure it out.

Edemame has become my new favorite food. It's so stinkin easy it's ridiculous. And it's amazing. I love it. I really love it.

Today, February 9, 2009 was my first good day at school. Every class went well today. Finally, an entire good day. Not just a few good classes, but a good day. And it only took...forever.

Meet my little buddy Sprout. I know, the name is totally obvious...but it works and I like it.

At first Sprout wasn't having a very good hair day.

But not too long after I got him, his hair started shooting up! Now he has twice as much as this picture! So fun!

Hmmm...I haven't seen Charlie in a while. Better go check on her so she doesn't do something like this again.

Yes, I'm a slacker. I haven't posted in over a week. What am I thinking? I have things to post. I do! I swear! Like the card from Auntie Karen that Charlie ate, or the pillow I'm working on, or the paint by numbers I'm working on, or the pile of clean laundry sitting next to the computer, or the suitcase that still needs to be unpacked.

The problem is that I actually have things to do now. Like clean up Charlie's messes, or work on the pillow, or work on the paint by numbers, or fold laundry, or clean the bathroom, or do the dishes, or...anyway....

Even today, I feel like I have too many things to do to fit into one day. Which is why I am leaving for work in 8 minutes (which will be 6 am). I have a ton of grades to do that I had planned on doing last night, but I didn't have the write website to get to our grades!

So I'll work on that this morning in hopes that I can get it done in time to take a short nap before class!! I'm pooped and I'm ready for it to be Saturday.
